Angela Chirila (It's pronounced Kirila)​

My name is Angela, a Moldavian Denver-based artist and author. I lived for a while in Holland and then I moved to the United States where I lived for the past nine years - I absolutely love Monet and Van Gogh. 

I started to paint 8 years ago. I'm a self-taught artist. I first started with painting small portraits.  I use acrylic and oil paints.  I cannot go one day without painting.  Painting changed the way I see the world and the time - it changed me as a person also.  I want my art to make people dream a little and escape reality.

I paint mostly women. I love to combine women and nature because they are both beautiful and both can give life. 

I think that Art is priceless because it takes a lot of time to create a masterpiece. 
When you buy something from an artist you are buying hundreds of hours of work, you are buying a piece of someone's soul, a piece of someone's life.
