A vignette is defined as a short essay, brief scene, a design on a book page, an un-bordered picture, in art they are small playful interactions with materials that are turned into beautiful unplanned illustrations. Using various watercolor techniques to create color and texture rich images the artists will  experiment and play with a variety of materials to create authentically rich and original images.

 

The participants will be guided through watercolor, ink and collage techniques that will be implemented into their vignettes.  Most of the work is based on play and experimenting. This is perfect for all levels. Whether you’re brand new or looking to sharpen your skills this class will elevate your artistic journey. 

 

These are an opportunity to make one-of-a-kind art by YOU!  You and your friends  will have fun with the playfulness, creativity and possibilities of these methods. Students will be provided with most materials, an optional supply list will be emailed to you. Light refreshments will be provided.

 

Best part all students leave with 3-5 original, unique and beautiful art of your own design.
