Joshua Houska

Aurora-based artist Joshua Houska has always had a passion for exploration and creativity. While studying at the University of South Dakota, he discovered his love for design, painting, and printmaking.
Joshua is inspired by his travels, storytelling, and cinema. He brings these influences to life through his chosen mediums: watercolor, gouache, and intaglio printing.
In February 2018, Joshua embarked on a personal challenge to create a new piece of art every day—be it a drawing, painting, or print—and share his journey with the world. His works reflect that commitment. He continues to explore new mediums to bring his creations new life.
