Dorothy DePaulo

Art is my passion. There is nothing that makes me more at peace with the world than sitting at my drawing board and transferring the vision in my head to an illustration on paper.  Creating art is the one thing that I want to spend the rest of my life doing.

My basic art education was at the Colorado Instituted of Art where I majored in graphic design. Though I’ve worked in many different media, I am now primarily working in colored pencil on drafting film.

I’m an active member of the Colored Pencil Society of America, the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists, and the American Society of Botanical artists.

My work has been selected for many national and international juried shows as well as being part of the Southwest Botanical Art Past and Present Exhibit at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, in Tucson, Arizona and America's Parks II Exhibit, touring museums in Missouri, Colorado, and Arizona.
