Drop-in Nude Figure DrawingWe will be holding bimonthly figure drawings with a live model from Art Of Modeling. DATES: Tuesday, August 15, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, August 29, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, September 12, from 6:30 - 8:30: CANCELED Tuesday, September 26, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, October 10, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, October 24, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, November 7, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, November 21, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, December 5, from 6:30 - 8:30 Tuesday, December 19, from 6:30 - 8:30 Doors open at 6:15pm and we ask that you arrive 10 minutes before as we will be locking the doors at 6:30pm. Cost is $10 - can pay by cash, charge, Venmo or Zelle. We also ask that you have $5 cash to tip the model. NOTE: Starting January 2024, cost will be $15 No need to register, just come and pay night of the class. There is a free parking garage with entrances on either end of the block or free on-street parking. WHAT TO BRING: Drawing easel, paper and art materials. We will set up tables and chairs as well. Repurposed Cabinet Door Workshop with Lisa LureeWould you like to learn how to create a framed painting of your own out of a repurposed cabinet door? This kitchen cabinet door workshop consists of 6 weekly classes. Each 2-hour class will teach you how to turn a discarded cabinet door into your own ready-to-hang painting. Ages 12 and up, beginners or advanced artists welcome! All supplies will be included, (watercolor and ink are the medium Lisa will teach and provide), but if you'd like to bring your own supplies: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink - that's good too! You will get to paint what you wish, but if you would rather follow along, Lisa will be teaching how to paint a flower/bee theme. Bring your ideas and reference photos. .
