VANTAGE POINT: 2025 JURIED MONTH OF PHOTOGRAPHY CALL FOR ENTRY
Valkarie Gallery invites photographers of all styles to submit work for our Month of Photography exhibition - Vantage Point.
When you capture a moment in time, does it change your memory of it? Do you manipulate the image to match your feeling or memory? Does revisiting the image allow you to see the world from a new perspective?
Open to all lens-based photographers, Valkarie Gallery is seeking creative and unique perspectives from landscapes and portraits to still life, abstract and documentary. This will be a showcase for a diverse range of talent to celebrate the 2025 Month of Photography!
Vantage Point will be juried by local award winning photographer Robert Newman.
Robert Newman is a still photographer who creates an abstract world using unconventional means- an iPhone camera set with 4-second exposures.
Robert’s focus in on process rather than the subject itself – it’s a challenge for his photographic instincts. Hand-holding, pre-visualizing with endless variables, working with no clear picture on screen. Only in editing will the true image form and he is often surprised by the unexpected. These moments of discovery define his chase for abstract photography.
Blending form, light, and perspective, where time and motion meet, intriguing alter-realities and new contemplative landscapes form.
Deadline to submit: February 23, 5pm. Notification of of acceptance will be February 26th.

Cost: $25 for three images - pay via PayPal, Venmo or Zelle
Art must be framed/ canvas wrapped and ready to hang. All accepted pieces must be delivered in person by March 2nd, 4:30pm, Valkarie Gallery, 445 S Saulsbury St, Lakewood, CO 80226.
